Booking Terms
Booking and payment
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once full payment has been received. Payment is taken securely online during booking.
Guests are responsible for checking that the accommodation, dates and party details are correct before completing payment.
Prices
The price shown during checkout is the total price for the accommodation and any selected extras.
Tent-pitch prices include up to two adults and two children. Additional adults and children are charged at the published nightly rate.
Caravan security deposit
Vintage caravan stays require a refundable £10 cash security deposit at check-in.
The deposit may be retained in full or in part where there is damage, excessive cleaning, missing items or a serious breach of the site rules. Where no deductions are required, the deposit will be returned at check-out.
Arrival and departure
Standard check-in is from 2:30pm.
Standard check-out is by 11:00am.
Early check-in from 1:30pm and late check-out until 12:30pm may be available as paid extras and must be booked in advance.
Guests arriving late should contact The Little Vintage Village before travelling.
Cancellations and changes
Where possible, guests may request to move their booking to another available date. Date changes are subject to availability and any price difference.
If The Little Vintage Village has to cancel a booking because the site cannot safely or legally provide the stay, guests will be offered alternative dates or a full refund.
Guests and occupancy
Only the guests included in the booking may stay overnight.
The number of guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy of the booked caravan or tent pitch.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome. The first dog is free and additional dogs are charged at the published rate.
Dogs must be kept under control, must not disturb other guests or animals, and all waste must be cleared up immediately.
Guests should mention the first dog in the Special Requirements box when booking.
Activities and extras
Fishing-rod hire and rowing-boat hire may be selected during booking, subject to availability.
Horse or pony rides must be arranged separately at least 48 hours before arrival and are subject to availability.
Firepit hire must be arranged separately and is subject to availability.
Weather and site conditions
The site is off-grid and does not provide electric hook-ups.
Outdoor activities and facilities may be restricted or unavailable because of weather, ground conditions, maintenance, safety concerns or circumstances outside the site’s control.
Guest responsibility
Guests are responsible for their own belongings, vehicles and equipment.
The Little Vintage Village is not responsible for loss or damage unless caused by its negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Guests must report any damage, accident or safety concern as soon as possible.

Lawful basis
We normally process booking information because it is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you.
We may also process information to comply with legal obligations and for legitimate interests such as managing the site, maintaining records, preventing fraud and resolving disputes.
Booking and payment providers
Online bookings are processed through Anytime Booking.
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. The Little Vintage Village does not receive or store your full card details.
These providers process personal information under their own privacy and security arrangements.
Sharing your information
We only share information where needed to provide the booking, process payment, comply with the law, protect legal rights or use trusted service providers.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep information
Booking and payment records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, legal, insurance and dispute-resolution purposes.
Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to:
- access your personal information
- correct inaccurate information
- request deletion
- restrict or object to processing
- request a copy of information you provided
- complain about how your information is handled

Site Rules
Respect for others
Guests must behave considerately and avoid excessive noise, nuisance or disruptive behaviour.
Quiet hours are from 10:00pm until 8:00am unless the owner confirms different times.
Children
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, particularly around animals, water, vehicles, firepits and outdoor equipment.
Animals
Do not enter animal enclosures, feed animals or approach them without permission.
Follow all instructions given by the site owner concerning horses, ponies and other animals.
Dogs
Dogs must be kept under control and must not chase, worry or disturb livestock, wildlife or other guests.
Dog waste must be picked up immediately and placed in the appropriate bin.
Fire safety
Open fires are not permitted except in an approved firepit or designated area.
BBQs and firepits must be positioned safely, supervised at all times and fully extinguished after use.
Do not use firepits or BBQs during fire bans, strong winds or when instructed not to by the site owner.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside caravans, the communal facilities, tuck shop or any enclosed shared area.
Vehicles
Drive slowly and carefully on site.
Vehicles must be parked only in the areas directed by the site owner.
Facilities
Leave the communal kitchen, shower and toilet clean and tidy after use.
Children must not use communal facilities without appropriate supervision.
Waste
Use the bins and recycling facilities provided.
Do not leave litter, food waste or disposable BBQs on the ground.
Off-grid site
There are no electric hook-ups.
Guests must not connect equipment to site supplies without permission.
Damage
Any accidental damage or breakage must be reported promptly.
Guests may be charged for damage, missing items or excessive cleaning.
Prohibited behaviour
Illegal activity, threatening behaviour, excessive noise, deliberate damage, unsafe use of fire or serious disregard of site instructions may result in the booking being ended without a refund.
Owner instructions
Guests must follow reasonable safety and site-management instructions given by the owner or site staff.
